Hi there everyone,
Thank you for taking the time to read my post. I just wanted to start by saying that I’m a 22 year old single female who has remained abstinent for a little over a year and a half (I have made a promise to myself and to the Lord to remain chaste until marriage). I was raised Catholic and although I fell away from the Church for a period of time, I am devoted to our beautiful Faith once again
Even though I have turned over a new leaf in my life and have confessed my sexual sins/the fact that I used contraception to a priest, I still feel guilty and “dirty”. I fully intend on telling my future husband about my sexual past and about having HPV, but I’m rather nervous about it. I fear that the fact that I’m not a virgin/that I am infected with HPV will send my spouse running for the hills. Am I over exaggerating or will this prove to be a difficult hurdle to overcome while trying to find a soul mate?
Thank you again for reading and sorry if my post is a tad bit long! God Bless!

I have however made some mistakes in my past. I was in a relationship with my boyfriend at the time and we had intercourse on several occasions. Although I was in a monogamous relationship/he was the only person I have ever been intimate with and we used the pill and condoms, I found out that I tested positive for a low risk strain of Human Papilloma Virus. (although my case is for the most part dormant, there is no cure)
