Is there anyone here that believes that there exists conflict in the Bible or that one Bible verse conflicts with another Bible verse?
I have asked this question in a thread because when I read some of these verses here posted by non-Catholic Christians to try to disprove Catholicism and I ask this question, I never get a straight answer.
In order to use a verse from a “Catholic Book” - the Bible, to “disprove” Catholicism, the verse has to be used out of context or in “conflict” with another verse. There is no conflict in the Bible when read and understood in context and it All supports Catholicism. And, it All points towards Jesus Christ in one way or another, the Old Testament and the New Testament… (Bible Typology and Christology)
The Bible is the “Word of God” and Jesus is “Word” and God. God is not in conflict with Himself…Right?
I have talked with many non-Catholic Christians who do hold this belief, that there does exist “conflict” in the Bible and they do “bounce” one verse off another to try and cancel-out a “Catholic” verse or verses. If you believe this, don’t be shy, let’s talk about it, this is an important issue!
Do not be affraid to tell us what you really believe…
