Yayy! Another person experiencing the EF and welcome to the Church!!!
My advice will be that whatever pious intentions you have at the OF or DL, have the same at the EF and know that interior adoration and devotion toward the Lord should be the same across all rites and forms of the Liturgy.
…just try not to treat it as a ‘beautiful spectacle,’ but rather a solemn act of worshipping God (but that goes true for all Liturgies).
(Sorry, I always am unsure what to say to those who go to the EF for the first time because in my mind, there shouldn’t be a difference internally, but people want to do the right thing externally which I feel can become a distraction in and of itself).
Also, try not to be bothered by the inquisitive or “unwelcoming” or curious glances of the younger/middle-aged parishioners because I know that can make people feel awkward. Heck, I’ve been going to the EF for 4 years now and that still bothers me (the older members are really sweet though ^^).
