I am checking, is it alright for Christian rock groups to play in Megachurches and Churches of other denominations? Are Catholics allowed to watch them?

I’m not sure I have an answer for you.

But it raises another question
Q: Is it okay to be in a rock band and play in sleazy bars, dives and pick up joints along with other places?
A: Obviously it is somewhat okay if it means making a living and your music is not Satanic like some of Ozzy Osbournes, although the line might be drawn at performing at a strip joint.

So getting back to the original question.
If your earning a living I dont see a rather large problem.
 
Why would listening to or playing music that is glorifying the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit be wrong? Whether it’s loud, soft, fast, or slow, no matter what building it’s done in… if it glorifies God it’s all good IMO. 🙂
 
Christian Rock is great, I love listening to it in the car. It is however not Liturgical music and IMHO should not be anywhere near the Mass.

If a group (that does not have any lyrics opposed to Catholic teachings) wants to come play in like a praish hall or something, outside of the sanctuary, thats fine by me.

Just dont forget the center of our worship is the alter, not a stage.
