For practically anything that get’s done in this world the underlying mentality for when you do anything (like work) is “quickly get things done right the first time” b/c it’s the most efficient and effective way to execute anything.Yet we are only human and some of us are slower then others, dont adapt well, take a while to catch on etc and for that reason we not too suprisingly can grow jaded with life.Probably one of the most cynical responses to the problem of evil that can be concieved of is saying that God allows bad things to happen to good people b/c it’s the most efficient way of getting things done (even if you do have omnipotence).Worse still would be to say he complies to this like it was an absolute or something. However, there’s nothing in Catholicism, any form of Christianity or any religion for that matter that explain how God uses his omnipotence or if there’s any rules for when you have omnipotence is there?.How would you answer back to such a response to the problem of evil?.Thanks for your time.
