I believe that that is the proper interpretation of Genesis, that the fallen angels mated with human women, especially when you read the book of Enoch that says the same exact thing as Genesis concerning fallen angels mating with human women except in the book of Enoch they call them fallen angels more plainly which leaves no doubt the the ones that mated with human women were not humans.Yes, there could be life on other planets. There is no problem with plant life, insects, or animal life; since it doesn’t touch upon issues of redemption. There are theological issues with intelligent sentient beings; which hopefully the Church will work on.
Now there are some passages of the Bible that some people quote as supporting Alien life; I’m thinking of people like Erich Von Daniken and “Ancient Aliens” theorists. For example, Genesis 6: 4 refers to “sons of God” mating with “daughters of men” and producing the giants. Now I do not say this is the correction interpretation. But some people point at passages like this as referring to aliens and humans interbreeding. Any thoughts on the proper interpretation of this Genesis reference?![]()
And when you look at shows like Ancient Aliens, it is clear that something was going on back then. Too many unexplainable things. The Bible clearly says giants existed back then like the one David slew. When Jesus died on the cross for our sins and to save us, and released His Spirit on the earth, I think that’s what’s holding back the fallen angels from doing that again for now. That’s why people just see glimpses and sightings of UFO activity and nothing more for now. But the book of Revelations talks about some strange things happening near the end after God’s Spirit leaves the earth to go to Heaven.
