Is there logical proof of eternity?

Hi everyone! 🙂

Is eternal life just something a Christian can only have faith in, or can eternity be proved logically?

Interesting. Considering most proven complex laws and principals are mostly confirmed by the testimony of reliable “witness’s”.
Example. The speed of light. I can’t measure it myself. But I trust those witnesses that have. They are known to be reliable, studious, credible witness’s.

Christ. The most reliable witness ever to walk the earth spoke many times about eternal life.
 
All life on this planet is bound by finite time; for all there is a beginning and an end. Only The Creator, G-D Himself is outside of the limitations and boundaries of time. Therefore, goodcatholic’s answer in the above post is absolutely correct. Only One who is not bound by time, One who is master of time itself, could even possibly answer the question.

Assuming the intellect is not made of parts there is no reason to think it would be destroyed when the brain no-longer functions.

But no, there is no logical proof of eternal life…

However, if you trust what Jesus said, you don’t really need one. Christianity is based on trust, the belief that Jesus is not a fraud or a liar or a crazy man, but is the son of God; and it is that trust that drives Christianity…

 Just my two cents:

 I believe it is reasonable and logical to believe there is eternity though we may not experience it. I do not believe it is logical to believe in eternal life. That I believe is an act of faith.

Yes there is something whacky with it. I've tried to get it back to "normal" with no success. This is therefore the "new normal" and is not something I "need to find a way to get that fixed." I simply need to be content with being different. :)
 
Well let's see what happens. I just pressed the > button to see what will happen. Though it is also the key for the period as well. I'm always hitting that key and the key for the coma as well. Or do you mean all three of those keys? Here goes.
