Is there only one "official" rosary of the Blessed Virgin?

At Fatima, the Blessed Virgin Mary asked that we pray the rosary daily. I want to be faithful to that in my prayer life. Is the traditional Dominican rosary the only one that “counts” or can others be substituted? For example, the Rosary of the Holy Wounds, the Holy Spirit Rosary, the Franciscan Crown, and the Rosary of Seven Sorrows are all listed in My Treasury of Chaplets as “rosaries.”

When we speak of “the rosary,” without specification or qualification, it is assumed that what is being referred to is the traditional Dominican rosary. So yes, Our Lady of Fatima is assumed to have been requesting that the Dominican rosary be prayed for the intentions she gave at Fatima. But since all rosaries and chaplets are private devotions that Catholics may pray at their discretion, you are free to substitute other rosaries or chaplets if you wish.
