Dear Friends,
Do any of you know, or heard of a priest (or group of priests) that believe that the Novus Ordo is not good, that there is no salvation whatsoever outside the Catholic Church, and does not support the recent popes because he (they) think that they were heretics…?
Code:
I hope that no one is scandelized by my question...but also hope that you can answer it....
May God bless you always!

The Congregation oif Mary Immaculate Queen. The Society of St. Pius V (not to be confused with the Society of St. Pius X, who certainly accept the current pope as valid).

It seems that are asking for a sedevacantist Priest who holds to the Feeneyite position on “Outside the Church there is no Salvation.” You will not find a Feeneyite Priest amongst the CMRI or SSPV, or the SSPX (though they are not sedevacantist).

There is a Fr. McKormac in New York on the TLM register, who’s website seems to espouse those positions.

But why did you want to find such a priest? Do you espouse these schismatic views yourself? Do you not espouse them and want to debate the priest or something?

For one thing every Catholic believes, as per the Catechism, in ‘no salvation whatsoever outside the Catholic Church’.

Of course we have differing interpretations as to what it actually means to be IN the Catholic Church. The status of Feeneyism is debatable, but it’s only one interpretation.

And it’s certainly not unCatholic to believe the Novus Ordo Mass is ‘not good’, though one cannot cross the line of believing it is invalid if celebrated correctly.

Dear Friends,
Thank you again for replying…The reason I started this was because I know some people who claim that there is such a community, and well…Since there did not seem to be one to their standards…well, I guess that they may have been wrong…
Anyways…may God bless you all on this All Souls Day!

Did you not read the various societies that were named in the posts above? Of course there are plenty of such groups! SSPV and CMRI being two. Try the Most Holy Family Monastery (Dimond Brothers) as well.

This is probably what you are looking for.

"In the 1960s, as a direct result of the Second Vatican Council, the Catholic Mass was changed beyond recognition. Latin, reverence, and large chunks of Catholic doctrine went out the window. Disaster followed. Mass attendance plummeted, belief eroded, vocations dried up.

At St. Gertrude the Great, we remain faithful to the “old ways”—the Church’s doctrine and worship, tried and true, unchanged and unchangeable. We treat the Mass and Christ’s Body and Blood for what they are―the holiest thing this side of heaven. We preach only eternal truths of the Catholic faith—no feel-good stuff, no fuzziness, no ecumenical sell-outs.

At St. Gertrude the Great, you’ll see Mass celebrated in the ancient and venerable Latin rite, whose central prayers have been exactly the same since the days when our forebears in the faith emerged from the catacombs. As a Catholic you have a right to sound doctrine and pure worship—a right that no one, not even a bishop or a pope, can take away.

If you want to worship and believe as Catholics have always worshipped and believed, join us at St. Gertrude the Great. "

These folks are SEDE but not absolutist on EENS. Finding a group that is both is really a needle in a haystack.

The MHFM have no priests in their community but they fit the profile.
So, to have a group of priests+SEDE+absolute EENS is even more rare if any exist at all…as a group. Individual priests is another matter.

There are a few who are like Christ the King Abbey, Cullman County, Alabama. Which only use the Pius V Mass pre-1955 or is it pre-1950?. Will not sermonize on EENS in the absolute, so you have hard time pinning them down. They just want to live & be left alone.

Whether one is absolutist or not on EENS, if the zeal to convert in charity is in both persons, what difference does it make, really?
The problem with relativism on EENS arises when folks like Cd Kasper get in the act and more or less singlehandedly “saves” non-christians as they are, and without any distinction.

Dear Friends in Christ,
Thanks for your (name removed by moderator)ut again…I have heard of the Holy Family Monestery, and the seem to be one of the few who totally hold these opinions…However…TNT may be right…There may be no such priests after all you totally agree with this…
Thanks again…May God watch over you!
