Is these lustful thoughts?

I always seem to be thinking about one of my friends. We were good friends before she had gone to DC for some interning and decided not to get involved because was going to DC. We had talked and found that we had missed each other over the year she spent there. So when she had came back we had a few dates, but she wanted to end it being that she is not from my state and was graduating and plans on working for the state department. Which is fine and all, but I always seem to be thinking about her not in a dirty way, but I do wish she was still around. So is this just me missing her or I am I thinking about her to much?
 
Lust is not thinking fondly of someone you miss. Lust is thinking of them in a sexual way, specifically.

If you are fantasizing about her body and you and her doing sexual things… then yes you are lusting. There are many friends I think of fondly that I haven’t seen in years, that’s part of caring for them.

Naturally you think of her as, had she not been geographically absent, you wouldn’t have stopped seeing each other. If she doesn’t reconsider her merely practical decision, I pray that someone wonderful will come along for you soon!
 
Thank you I just wanted to make sure and well I can understand her leaning to being more practical because of her ex, but that is a different matter; as well as her being a full 3 years ahead of me in college.
