Is this a catholic or christian censer?

There really is not difference in face you can say they are both since Catholics are Christians, in fact they are the first Christians. A censer can be used by anyone, but it seems to me this would mostly be used by Catholics.

Even though the thing has crosses on it, it is always a good practice to buy religious items ONLY from Christian/Catholic stores.

The Russian Orthodox Church recently made that law . . .

And the number for this post of mine is entirely coincidental . . .

I know that I said it weird and I know that catholics are christians but what I meant was I have been looking for one for my home and I keep finding weird wicca or whatever they are things. And I was just asking if this looks like its catholic/christian

LOL, I have never been to another church, as in a different christian church so I guess I could not help you with the question. I have to ask do other christian faiths use incense as we do? Also what the heck are you buying one for, is it for home decoration, to get rid of a bad smell in the place maybe? Just curious.

Yes, there are in fact plenty of other Christians do. The Eastern Orthodox Church uses incense in their liturgy. It’s not surprising given how extremely similar Orthodoxy is to Catholicism. Likewise, I’m pretty sure the Oriental Orthodox Church and the Assyrian Church of the East use incense. I doubt that very many Protestants use it, although I suspect that some of the more traditionally minded Anglicans probably do.

I am making a home altar.

That’s the cheapest I’ve seen! Usualy they’re like $40-100!some are like $200+
The censer isn’t huge, just fyi. About 4 inches wide and 5 inches tall. And the chain part to the top of the ring is about 10 inches. So this is certainly not the size you find in church, but perfect for home “altar” use, which is what I got mine for. I got the Pentecost set from them and the incense smells very nice. 🙂
