I kindve say to myself. would you say this in front of a priest.

What makes a word sinful to use is whether and how much it will offend those listening to it. You just have to weigh up how acceptable the word is to those listening or reading it. Everyone and every culture is different. Jesus says that anyone who calls his brother a fool will pay for it in hell fire. This word is not offensive in my culture usually. In his culture calling someonw\e a fool was the worst thing you could call them. Of course blasphemy is sinful whether the listener is offended or not. As are slander, lying and everything we speak which offends God.
This word hell is ok where I live.
