Is this a good order?

Hi!
do you know anything about this religious order; they are Poor Clares and it seems this is Mother Angelica’s order.

they seem orthodox and traditional, - are they in full communion with the Church? (not like SSPX or anything)

Who do you think invented EWTN, dear soul?

It was Mother Anglica and the nuns, who were originally in Irondale. It’s their old convent where the studios of EWTN are located!

I really like their website and the shrine, and the music is beautiful

but most of all I think it’s awesome that they’re so focused on Eucharistic Adoration and Poor Clares in general seem like a great contemplative order.

does anyone know what is the age limit for postulancy there? …30, 35? I’m just curious lol.

Their age limit is 35 as quoted from the Institute of Religious Life’s website. They do not accept belated vocations, however.

I considered checking this order out when I was interested in the Poor Clares, but realized that the Franciscan spirituality, while beautiful and certainly inspiring, did not call to me like the Carmelite spirituality does. I love their Eucharistic focus as well, and I was originally looking for an order that had Perpetual Adoration, but God has other plans for me.

Yes they are Catholic and are 300% in Full communion to the Church! They have a very beautiful charism, i love their perpetual adoration and the sisters here are really like sisters!
