Is this a sacrilage?

Is it a good thing for some women in the parish I go to take a host with them and leave the Church for whatever their reason is outside the Church? From my understanding, only priests, Pope, Bishops, and Cardinals can do this when is come to the Holy Eucharist.

If they are appointed as Extraordinary Ministers to the Sick then, yes, they can leave the church with the host. They should take it in an appropriate pyx. Otherwise the sick and shut ins would not be able to receive communion.

No one else should be taking the Eucharist from the church. They must consume it when they receive it at communion time.
