I have nothing against the LGBT community, despite me not really having belief in them and thinking being homosexual is not right I still support what is going on for them, Is that a sin?

I encouraged two people (girls) I know very well (who have liked each other for a very long time) to get together as I see that they’ve always wanted to be in a relationship but now they’ve realised they weren’t really meant for one another and it’s just infatuation but that’s not relevant to the story, because I encouraged for them to step into a relationship is that a sin?

I felt like I shouldn’t have encouraged it/said anything at all…

I’d reccomend studying what the Church has to say a about SSA relationships and “marriage”.

Yes. To encourage another to sin, especially gravely, is a sin.

Yes it is a grievous sin said in Mark 9:42 “If any of you put a stumbling block before one of these little ones who believe in me, it would be better for you if a great millstone were hung around your neck and you were thrown into the sea.

Yes. It is grave matter. Whether it is a sin or not depends on your knowledge about what you were doing. You didn’t seem to know it was wrong.

Again, yes. Those with same sex attraction are called to be chaste in their state in life. Same sex attraction is not a sin. Acting on that attraction is wrong. And we should not encourage it.

Have friends with same sex attraction, treating them justly and fairly, and loving them is the right thing to do. Promoting and advancing causes related to “gay rights” may be something else altogether depending on what that cause is. Fair housing and employment: fine. Same sex marriage: not fine.
