If you knew that someone was driving their car and you went ahead and phoned them you could be risking their life (say they crashed because they were speaking to you on the phone) So is it in any way sinful to ring someone up when you know that they will probably be driving a car? Obviously you wouldn’t be deliberately phoning them to make them crash the car.

Any Ideas?

Hey FAH!

Firstly, love your signature! =)

Secondly, no that’s not a sin. It’s not unreasonable to assume they won’t answer the phone unless they can easily answer it without ending up in a tree.

That’s their responsibility, not yours.

AS its against the law to use a cell in most places unless its hands free the person would be breaking the law and they know they should not be using their cell when they are driving it would be their own fault as everyone has been informed on how dangerous it is and the accidents that it has caused.
