Hi everyone;

Could someone tell me if laypeople are allowed to recite in private the “Prayers Against Satan and Rebellious Angels published by order of H. H. Pope Leo XIII” ? It says at the top that it can be said by the faithful. It starts with prayer to St. Michael the Archangel, then the Exorcism prayer. At the places marked with a cross, it states that a priest would give a blessing but if a layman recited it they make the sign of the cross in place. I obtained the pamphlet from Last Days Ministries but I don’t know how true this is. Anyone hear of this? :confused:

I have seen this circulating on the web recently and is alledged to be the original St. Michael The Archangel prayer - yet I can find no authentication of this - it appears very freqeuntly on Sedevacant sites I noted -

I’d stick to the classic one

ps - I looked at the Last Days Ministries site tldm.org/ and they are very antiVatican II.

I agree, I’d just use the ‘St Michael the Archangel…’
