If it was true then just about everybody in the world would be doomed. As such, it seems misleading and a bit drastic, because if it was true than all but a few people dwelling in caves would be doomed.

Reminds me of the “album burnings” they would have at the pentecostal church when I was a kid.
We teens would put the cheesy Christian pop albums in the Led Zepplin sleeves for burning and that way we could keep the music and make our parents happy at the same time.

I only listen to Catholic Church hymns, Mass settings, rarely Michael Jackson and some other songs much less frequently. Really I just listen to hymns lol, there are some great versions of them on YouTube.
As for movies, I check on IMbd before seeing any movie to see if the parent’s guide lists any nudity. Even if it’s slight nudity I don’t watch it. I do not want to support any movie with nudity because I think it is disrespectful to the human being naked and it is the near-occasion of sin.
I look away during kissing scenes in movies as well, I just don’t think I gain anything from watching it. I don’t think it promotes emotional chastity for those watching the kissing scene
