I was showing my sister this one hoodie I want with a Christian design. After I showed it to her she asked me if I would ever want a hoodie that said WWJD on it. She thinks im somewhat of a “Jesus freak” and I think this was a test to see what I would say. I said no because I personally would not want a hoodie with big letters WWJD on it. I like the slogan and think it is something good to live by, but I would not want that on a hoodie. I also said no because I felt like I was being pressured to and that she would think im weird if I said yes. But a second after I said no, I changed my mind and told her yes because I did not want to deny Christ. Would this be considered denying Christ?
Thanks!!! 🙂

You did not deny Christ by refusing to wear a Jesus-related article of clothing.

WWJD is a popular memetic phrase in our culture. I believe it’s usually associated with evangelicals, fundamentalists, and other protestants. Simply to prefer a cross on a t-shirt to “WWJD” on a sweater is nowhere near apostasy. Don’t be too hard on yourself. 🙂
