Is this legit?

The website mentions that the call for processions is preferably to occur on Oct 28, which is the feast of Christ the King on the Tridentine calendar. If you have a parish in your area where the Latin Mass is celebrated, they may know more about it. The feast of Christ the King that is on the current church calendar is November 25, about a month later. I’m just thinking that most parishes, since they will celebrate on Nov. 25, will probably not have heard of this initiative.

It doesn’t do much good to hold a quasi-political rally after an election.
 
I don’t think a Eucharistic procession would be considered a quasi political rally. :confused:
 
I’m gona be talking to our priest to see if he would be interested in doing this. Sure hope so! I think it would do some good bc I go to a big liberal school in a fairly liberal town

On the eve of the forthcoming elections, through these processions, they will publicly exert the social kingship of Our Lord Jesus Christ and pray for the protection of religious liberty as well as the spiritual well-being of the nation and its leaders.

I don’t know how else to interpret it.

From the link I can’t determine who is sponsoring this event, which is curious. Based on the pictures, I’m assuming it’s the Knights of Columbus. I wonder what the reaction would be if a liberal Catholic organization used the Eucharist in the same way right before the election.
