If scienctists were to clone that DNA into a living person, whoud he be sinless?

That seems to be the question Dave Farley is trying to answer.

The newspaper article is definitely legit. I guess we’ll have to wait until the book is finished and gets published to find out about the legitimacy of the stories of the holy prepuce.

I don’t think I’ll be waiting in line at the bookstore on its release date though 😊 I wonder if he has a book deal already, and if so, which publishing house will be putting this out?
 
What part do you want debunked? It’s certainly possible, although I would like to see the bishop’s seal on the reliquary…

1.) 2,000 year-old DNA would be so degraded as to be useless, even for identification purposes.

2.) Even if it weren’t, “cloning that DNA into a human being” is so far beyond scientific capabilities that it is ridiculous.

3.) Lastly, the Incarnation was a miracle. I’m sure there was nothing special about Jesus’s DNA. It certainly didn’t have sinlessness or divinity encoded into it.

Well, the truth is, I’d like to find out that the whole thing isn’t true. Who knew at the time of the Presentation that He was the Savior anyway, except Mary and Joseph? Did they actually save the foreskin? Or maybe Simeon?
It seems illogical that anyone would have thought to put it in a hope chest for the future.
