I think it is, but I just wanna ask anyway.
I was supposed to read my school’s academic honesty policy for class and sign a document stating I had done so.
I didn’t read the policy and the document I had to sign to that effect was due today, so I signed the document and handed it in to my teacher, hoping that I could read the honesty policy later tonight.
I knew it might count as a form of lying, that it wasn’t right, and that I shouldn’t sign it until I read the honesty policy; nonetheless I did so anyway because it was due today.
Probably a mortal sin, right?
Furthermore I don’t feel remorse but I do realize that Confession might be necessary, but I don’t know if there exists true sorrow there because I don’t feel anything about what happened (and I realize sorrow can exist without the feeling…the feeling isn’t necessary but can be helpful). Advice?
