i do not know it his a liturgical abuse,but this Priest has been playing country music ,after homily.he even tell us the name of the artist and song’s message.i have never been to Mass anywhere,where secular music is played.the Bishop is aware if it,but he does not do anything,as this Priest has been in this church for decades …He even has his petdogs on the altar during Masses.Is this sacrilegious?
Just drop a note into the collection plate on Sunday saying you are hurt by his dog’s presense, and then start giving your collection money to a charity instead.
If enough people did this he would get the message.
i did post a link from USA TODAY article about this Priest and his petdogs,but the Mods deleted it ,as it contained his name and his church parish.You may view said article by googling " USA TODAY Catholic Priest with dogs" ,dated jan 11 2012.Im a roaming catholic,due to the nature of my job,. dont have specific parish.So, I rarely attend services there.
