Good day! I am a college student who is not that sporty.
But yesterday was our first day of sports-fest and all students (players and non-players) had this pledge in school non-verbatim, “I [state your name], will follow all the rules and play the games etc etc. So help me God.” I am a man who does not want to play games unless if there’s shortage of players on a particular game. I don’t know if I will commit perjury if I don’t play games.
Or perjury is strictly binding only on the court?
