I’m guessing he isn’t going to be on “The Voice” or “American Idol” any time soon. 😛

Ok I about fell out of my chair I was laughing so hard this is just so absurd. This is one of the many reasons I don’t listen Christian music other than hymns and Gregorian chant.

That is just embarassing to listen to. According to wikipedia, “He often preaches with Benny Hinn and has also preached with Tammy Faye Bakker.”

That explains a lot.

I actually thought his voice was pretty decent…but, um…when it came to “strok[ing] your Bible”…well, he lost me there.

I like the song. We all worship in our own way. The Word of God should be loved. The Holy Spirit guides us here on earth. Who are we to jest at others worship. How many do not even pick up their Bible?

Jesus loves me this I know.

I’d excuse Mike for the song if he weren’t such a con artist. I hate to say it, but I think he’s evil.

I do not know anything about Mike, but I know there are people worshiping God our Creator, God knows their heart. Look at Corapi, how many he fooled, but then again, look at how many he helped.

I agree. God can do good through Mike Murdock, even though he seems clearly corrupt himself. I don’t think Corapi ever promoted such a blatant love of money as Mike openly promotes, though. So, speaking for myself, I find it very hard to excuse his listeners from some considerable degree of complicity in being deceived.

I agree. No, Corapi preached the Truth, he just was not living by it, his talks helped me a lot, but did not shake my faith when he fell from grace. As for this Mike I never heard him other than this song, the message was touching. There was no mention of money in the song. Many start out with good intentions with guys like him and eventually find the Truth they are seeking!

He sure mentions it here:

Sometimes I wonder if he’s Mr Krabs incarnated into a human being.
