Is this scrupulosity?

Hi, I’m a college student who grew up in the Church but only now have begun really trying to understand the Church’s teachings. I’m a perfectionist with fairly obsessive tendencies, and I’ve been worrying a lot lately about whether I have committed mortal sin. It’s been escalating over the past few months, to the extent that just in the time between my - now weekly - confessions on Saturdays and Mass on Sunday morning, I almost always commit at least one sin that I think is a sufficient enough violation of the ten commandments to bar me from recieving communion. My priest has told me that constantly getting down on myself about this is the work of the devil, but I can’t help but feeling its better to be safe than sorry.

These are never obvious mortal sins, but are things where I’m not sure one way or the other on “grave matter” and “intent”. For example, I was recently thinking about what someone else would say, and imagined them saying the Lord’s name in vain before I could stop myself. I also lied to a friend about watching a tv show I was embarrassed to admit I like. Am I being too scrupulous or are these legitimate mortal sins that ban me from receiving communion and that I need to confess?
