Is this stealing and is it a mortal sin?

Basically I had took two Examinaiton of Conscience papers from church home without permission.
I don’t know whether or not this is a grave matter because these papers came from a holy place but they are trivial,
I have committed this act with full knowledge stealing is a mortal sin (don’t know if stealing is a mortal sin overall),
and I don’t know if this is considered as deliberate consent or not but I brought them home anyways.
Help, please?
