Is this the RSV-CE or the RSV-2CE?

I came across a RSV- Catholic on EWTN.com

So I ask, is this the RSV 1966? or their own version?

I know it’s not the RSV-2CE because of the archaic language in the Psalms and “cup” is not replaced with “chalice”

However, Isaiah 7:14 reads “virgin” and I thought the original RSV CE read “young woman”

It’s not the RSV-2CE, thank God, but it’s not really the original 1965-66 RSV-CE, either. The latter was based on the then current (1959) RSV NT, with, of course, the changes peculiar to the Catholic edition.

The one on EWTN’s site is similar to the Oxford University Press RSV-CE, which was based on the 1971 RSV (2nd ed.) NT.

It’s REALLY too bad mmortal03 pulled his synopses of the various RSVs offline.
