Is Tithing required

Is tithing still required since the Old Testament has been fulfilled

We are required to contribute to the support of the Church according to our means. Tithing (giving 10%) is not strictly required; we should prayerfully determine how much to give to the Church and other charities.

Philothea is absolutely right. Those who are wealthy should give more than 10% but those who cannot should give to the best of their ability and even sacrificially. Although many priests teach tithign, I do not think it is a written dogma of the Church.

Question? Should we give less than our cell phone bill, less than our DSL, less thana our priemium channels? Probably not since these are not necessities.
