Hi, this is my 1st post as I am new.I looked & did not see any questions like it.so,about 20 years ago i had i guess what they call a reversion confession.i was scared to death when i went there & walking on air when i left.A very short time time later i went again to a different priest, i was afraid because i had forgotten to tell the 1st priest that i had received the lord sacrilegiously (before confession) this priest told me very emphatically that the 1st priest should have told me that this was forgiven along with every thing i had done up to that point so long as i was honest and truly sorry. So everything has been going along pretty good until about a year ago, I started to think that i had forgot some things some that were bad, but then i wasn’t sure, back & forth over & over again. I realize this sound really dumb but its not to me its driving me nuts.I don’t know what to do ( help).

Dear friend,

You are beginning to scruple. When we go to Confession, so long as we don’t deliberately conceal any sins, all our sins are forgiven, including the ones we have forgotten. At this point, it would be better for you to not go back over the past.
