I was diagnossed with Multiple Sclerosis on April 2007, at that point I started a treatment for this disease–I take an injection once a week for the rest of my life since this is non-curable disese–now,a few months later I was told by my Doctor people with MS get Depression, and many commit suicide or the thought of it–that is not going to happen to me, but I do get depression and cry for no reason many times, some will suggest doing things to get your mind of problems but that is not the reason I cry and feel depress- is out of nothing–is my body , is this disese – the point is and I try not to use those pills because it makes you feel like in a "daze’ and I’m sure God will rather I use my mind and thoughs of him to control it–and it works but not all the time-- I do not understand why I feel is not right to use them but I have to–can you tell me your thoughts on this?

I hope not, I’ve been taking them for several years. You might talk to your doctor about a different medication. I don’t notice any dazed feeling with mine.

Melba, what the pills do is restore the chemicals in your brain to their proper balance. They do not make you “high,” they return you to normal.

Tell your doctor about the dazed feelings.

I’ve been taking them for 13 years. On bad days I feel a bit dazed, but it’s better than crying all day.

Please talk to your priest about this. This is important.

God bless you deeply,

Ruthie
