Is using God's name in vain a mortal sin?

Today, I was frustrated over something, and I inadvertently blurted out God d*mn it. I was immediately upset and sorry. It was quick and unintended and it was in no way meant as a blasphemy toward the Lord. I still fear however this is taking the Lord’s name in vain. Is this a mortal sin or a venial sin?
