I would like to know if watching movies at the movie theatre that contain sex or nudity is a mortal sin. As a horror movie buff, I like watching scary movies and being scared. Unfortunately, many times, it’s these movies that contain sex and nudity. Please understand that I’m not watching these movies for the sex and nudity, I just love scary movies. If I wanted to watch a movie for sex and nudity wouldn’t it make more sense to watch a porn movie because let’s be honest, sex in regular movies is not the same thing as watching pornos. I wouldn’t do it, I’m just trying to make a point. Please give me a straight yes or no answer. I’ve gotten answers that just confuse me more than anything. I’ve also just considered closing my eyes and plugging my ears when I suspect there’s going to be something inappropriate about to happen.
