I’ve seen a lot of trendy jewelry in the last two or three years with saints and virgins and crosses. But the latest seems to be the wearing of rosaries as necklaces and bracelets. My mother told me years ago when I was just a little girl that wearing a rosary as jewelry is considered sacrilegious.
My sister in law wears them and it bothers me. So before I mentioned anything to her, I decided I would get the official ruling on this from a more official source.
