In 2001 I lost my best friend who was a police officer. He was killed in the line of duty when this happened. I want to ask you all something. I grew up in a very small town where everyone knows everyone and there was 23 people in my senior class.
Here is my delema (SP) I am wanting to give out green ribbons and a stick pin in memory of him at this event that is taking place on the 21’st of next month. About a week ago there were three tenagers , 19 years old, that were in a terrible accident in which two of them died and the third one is in the hospital. The little town is sufferering greatly. I still want to give these green ribbons out for Justin on those days but have had people tell me that it would bring back the hurt of losing the two a week or so ago. I feel like the time and date that the event is taking place should be ample time to get over it and move on. I really want to do this so Justin isnt forgotten. What would yall do?
Thank you. I really hope to hear some feedback on this. I did talk to a priest about it and he said for me to go on as planned. What is yalls take on this? Gigglin4God.
