Good evening all,

I am interested in learning more about Isaiah 22. I have been able to get some Catholics to say "yes, it is related" but I was wondering if anyone had something (a hyperlink maybe) that is a little more "meaty."
As I understand, verse 22 "I will place on his shoulder the key of the house of David; he shall open, and no one shall close; he shall close, and no one shall open" is related to Mathew 16:18-19 where Jesus gives Simon, son of Jonah, the keys to "bind and loose."
I'm also interested in learning more about verse 25. Is it talking about Jesus being an "old" peg, and Peter (verse 23) a new?
