I’ve read that your torment will start immediately with some sort of big headed moster like snakes eating you up continusly and repeating this torment… .
Explain what the tradition on this is…and is there more…
Thanks again
When a person is about to die the angel Israil comes to him and takes the soul out of his body,if he/she was bad Israil will be rude and make it painful,if the person was good Israil will be good and make the death as easy as possible.

In the grave,2 angels will ask those 3 questions,Munkir and Nakar, and they will be the “mirror” of yourself,if you were a good believer they will come as beautiful men in white clothes etc.If you were bad they will look scary. The questions they ask are just symbolical, even if you know them in the head it is only by your deeds that you can answer. So if you were a bad person you will not be able to say anything. After that they send your soul out of the grave and you go to Berzah, knowing you will most probably go to hell after judgment day(if you didnt answer).

you dont understand?
I understand what a nonmuslim is…

I just wanted to hear from you who are these “nonmuslims” doomed for hell… Catholics and the rest of Christianity…??? seems like it since we are “nonmuslims”…

i guess Israil will not be that nice to you if you die like a catholic, and neither will Nakar and Munkir:D

no im just kidding, well i dont know how it goes…but some sabians, jews and christians will enter heaven accoridng ot the Koran

Hope so. I just don’t want to go elsewhere…don’t want some Muslim man chasing me around.

Seems like when it comes to hell, that is where Muslims and Christians think similar…hell sounds like a pretty scary place and i sure hope I don’t go there either.

I would prefer to be with the Lord Jesus and His people.

and thats an explanation? or your just kidding again?

Hi there muslim sister… Now… I need to ask again because these 2 posts contradict each other… here you wrote and please look for the bold font size 3…
In islam we believe in a similar thing, most muslims will have to go through hell to get away their sins, after that they will enter the paradise.

While nonmuslims will stay in hell forever

But right now there is no hell or paradise because all the dead people live in berzah. So when a person dies he doesnt go to heaven(as you christians say),some muslims think berzah is just the same like this world while others believe it is a state of mind where you dont know you exist…like sleeping
And now here you wrote… again… please note bold font… size 3…

Two different things are written…

1 - all non muslims will go to hell
2 - the koran states that “some” non muslims will not to go hell

Which is it…???

And since you are follower of islam & the koran and you know that is states… & I quote you…

Why you would post that nonmuslims will go to hell…???

Please explain. Thanks

That seems a little disingenuous to ask a question and then force someone to answer according to their lifestyle rather than give them the free will to answer to their knowledge and judge upon their honesty of self.

Also judgment is made upon all souls according to their life on earth and then they are sent to their final destination according to their ruling.

I had read something a while back regarding the Muslim belief in predestination as well, can somebody clarify that as well? Or is that specific to different sects of Islam?

Jakasaki so “meticulous” you are

Ok so i said all nonmuslims, and i meant most nonmuslims…why is that sooo big? i dont know what is it that you want to say ?

i am not the one to comment those things

Predestination is a part of islam, but not all things are predestinated.Men can also change what is meant to be to him by his actions or by prayer…but thats still predestinated ,since God is Almighty. So you have free will, but God still knows what you will choose…hard to understand but we are just humans

I can understand that, though if there was predestination why are we not a perfect society? Christianity believes that Mary was given a decision and not forced to have Jesus. This is one major reason why the woman plays such a key role in a truly Christian society.

It is because not all things are predestinated…things like war, hate are the will of humans. If everything was predestinated then there would not be an argument for hell-why should anyone go to hell if God descided before that he will be a massmurder etc, that means he never ever had a chance?..and God knows that 🙂 and we muslims believe that a human beeing is of a good nature,we are good(not evil like in christianity) so to do evil things is to go against your own nature

Indeed I am muslim sister… indeed I am.

I’m a technical business analyst by profession for software & hardware for 30+ years. I do need to be as you call it… “meticulous”

What you meant & what you wrote are 2 different scenarios and now you are back peddling…

Back to the OT & OP’s thread!

defenation of islam in quran isn’t just the relegion of followers of mohammed (pbuh)

we believe that islam was a faith of all prophets including jesus and moses and abraham (peace be upon them all )
then when we say that nonmuslims will abide in hell , then we refer to all whom opposed thier prophets teaching

the christians who followed the true way of jesus are muslims , and the jews who followed the true way of moses (pbuh) are muslims , and the muslims who follows the true path of mohammed *pbuh" are real muslims

Isn’t there a passage in your koran that allah will guide those whom he wants to guide and allah will NOT guide those whom he DOES NOT WANT to guide.

Why would allah not want to guide all of his subjects the correct way to the right path…??

Why does allah pick & choose…??

Ok,the “people of the Book” have a special status, but generally speaking nonmuslims goto hell

Because Allah knows what is in your heart, some people dont want to know the truth,if a person is searching the truth, and he is honest God will guide him
