Does anyone know what the muslim stance of divorce is? Or is it like Christianity ie it depends what church you are in?
Interesting! So if a man converts to Christianity, a judge will enter a decree of divorce and end his marriage. What does this do to the wife and children? Are they recognized in the law? Also, does it affect any property he owns?Another kind of mandatory is when the Husband becomes a non muslim Then the devorce is mandatory . as a muslim woman cant marry a non muslim. originally if a muslim women chooses to stay with a non muslim husband then its a sin for her but she is still a muslim.
The issue of enforcing the separation Physically is somthing that is not really discussed in Islam as it is assumed that the muslim would obey . usually i never heared of it .
I know of a second. A friend of mine was married as a Moslem to a Moslem. I do not know much at all about what happened, which is why I asked. To tell you the truth , this rarely happens if not at all . I have heared of ONE ruling like this. However teh Husband insists he is still a muslim ( he was considered to have a certain heretic writing and not converted into anything) His wife believes he is a muslim and they are boith living as muslims.
This was 10 years ago or somthing
I’d better not say. Don’t want anyone to actually know who I am talking about if they came across this page.well then thats somthing emotional and personal but i dont know it as a ruling or law. which country as that btw?
Thanks
