i can have my own country and call it a Muslim state… it does not mean jack.Oh you mean that Iran isn’t a muslim state?
So Iran isn’t a muslim state?i can have my own country and call it a Muslim state… it does not mean jack.
No idea. The concept is detestable, if true.In Arab countries, aren’t women mutilated as children, so as to remove all ability to experience sexual pleasure?
Homosexuality, moreover, is an abomination and a grave sin. In Hadith, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, clarifies the gravity of this abomination by saying: “Allah curses the one who does the actions (homosexual practices) of the people of Lut” repeating it three times; and he said in another Hadith: “If a man comes upon a man then they are both adulterers.” Here, he considered homosexuality tantamount to adultery in relation to the Shari’ah punishments because it is an abomination on the one hand and the definition of adultery applies to it on the other hand. \quote]

Just curious here, but is this “repent and ammend” rule applicable to a woman and woman having sex?“If two men among you are guilty of lewdness, punish them both. If they repent and amend, Leave them alone; for Allah is Oft-returning, Most Merciful”
and the sexual intercourse has to be witnessed by 4 people…
after that they can be punished… if they are unmarried, they are usually punished depending on judges, usually flog… if they are married, they areflogged.
you don’t think people have been killed in the USA for being homosexual?I can bet why no post on this one.
Yes, they hung 2 Iranian teens recently. In Afghanistan they knock down walls on them. We believe that homosexuality is an objective moral disorder and that homosexual acts are always seriously sinful. That’s the nuts and bolts of it.
I think they have, but I’m sure the killers weren’t prompted by Catholic doctrine to do so.you don’t think people have been killed in the USA for being homosexual?
Neither does an illiterate turned thief, turned murderer, turned unholy religious leader who has no authority to claim he speaks for God. it does not mean jack.i can have my own country and call it a Muslim state… it does not mean jack.
Islam does not condone homosexuality nor does it condone killing of homosexuals.
If the best example of Islam you can find is Taliban and Iran… you need to do more research buddy.
The Qu’ran says that people sometimes have homosexual feelings but that they should keep it to themselves. its not illegal being gay but its illegal having sex with the same sex because a) its not within the context of marriage b) marriage = man and woman c) sodomy is illegal…
and im sure you Catholics (atleast the ones that truly know their religiona nd are open minded) woudl agree with that.
and a person with homosexual tendency who fights off their temptation is granted Paradise.
and only time killing someone is permitted is according to the Qu’ran is when that person kills.
Some of the things that the Moral Police and government do in Iran are unIslamic. The people that carry out such acts will indeed meet their lord and have to face Him and answer to Him for the unIslamic things that they have done. They have at times gone against Shariah law and gave people punishments that were not according to and worse than the punishment of Shariah Law.So Iran isn’t a muslim state?
Thank you very much for saying this. Nowhere does it say in the Quran or the Sunnah to do such things. Not attempting to derail, but someone should point out that female genital mutilation is not a ‘Muslim’ practice – it is primarily an African one, and is also performed among Ethiopian Christians, Copts, and West African tribal religions among others. Many in the region are Muslim, but it is a part of their cultural tradition even apart from religion.
