Islam is manifest in its “holy” scriptures, all of which promote perversion and genocide. The majority of Muslims throughout history have taken these words to heart, as shown by the savage atrocities they inflict against Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, and any other “infidel” else who crosses their path.

So what do you propose we do about it? 🤷

Does one have to propose a solution to every problem they identify?
Sure, why not. 🤷

At least its gonna be loads of fun hearing everyones opinion on how we should deal with it. 😃

Would someone please make this thread already:

How to deal with the Threat from Islam

Quit pacifying them in, especially in Europe! Quit being politically correct, and quit caring about offending them. I also think we should start making it known that Islam is not practicing what some of its proponents claim it teaches. It needs to be called out, and it needs to be met with force wherever it strikes with force. To me it is not about saving Christian civilization. It’s about saving the entire world from falling under the rule of a new caliphate!

Ideally the crusaders would have sacked Mecca 1000 years ago and slain this Islamic beast before it could spread any further.

However this sadly did not happen, and thus today we just have to pray that Christ returns soon enough and the modern Muslims find their way out of the darkness.

In the meantime we should forbid Muslims from immigrating to our countries. Quarantine the virus.

We are not savage Muslims. As Christians, we do not intentionally blow up women and children, and thus it is not possible to end Islam through force. We must just keep them in their own countries and pray they convert.

I see some good points.

However we must remember not to provoke Muslims. I mean when people imply that Muslims are violent, then, in an effort to prove the accusers wrongs, there are world-wide protests and many people are attacking, injured and killed.

Does anyone see an inherent contradiction in a religion that promotes killing people as a mean of protesting being called violent?

Wow. A Catholic in Alabama. I hope all is well for you guys down there. I am a Protestant, and I have heard other Prot. going off on you guys. What is the atmosphere like down there towards Catholics?

It’s always nice to meet a “fellow rebel”. Rebels are good things.
It is overall fine. We tend to fly under the radar, less than 5% of the overall population. 85% of the Catholics in Alabama live with 60 miles of Birmingham, so the number seems a little skewed.

Most of the anti-Catholic rhetoric is ignorance. Some is genuine concern for our souls. Lack of exposure and education is a big deal.

It is one reason that it is hard ot discuss the faith here. So many people have a high school education at best, and not much of one at that. If you get to far into the philosophical or the metaphysical, you lose them. The worse apologetic experiance that I ever had was with a illiterate primitive baptist preacher. I mean, how can you discuss what the Bible says when he has never read verse one but can tell you what it says?

When some one proposes (builds) a problem then he should himself try to solve it. There is no violence in Islam. Islam is just like christianity, both from the same One god.

Islam is not narrow minded racial or a personal religion. It is Universal religion based on Justice. It is lately linked with violence because the Muslims are suffering politically. So They retaliate. Otherwise there is nothing in Islam against any decent peaceful people of any faith. i.e. Jews, christians or Hindus.

Politics is totally different. That is not the responsibility of Islam now. The history of church or chrstianity has also not been a bright one. There had been lot of killing and violence. Please do not forget the Queen, bloody Mary.

How to deal with Islam: I propose we broaden and intensify public efforts in refuting islamic lies like these ones:
Islam is just like christianity, both from the same One god.
No. Islam is Political. Christianity is not. The two are very much different.
It is Universal religion based on Justice.
Polygamy, wife beating, jizya & sharia are perverted versions of “justice”
Politics is totally different.
FYI: Islam = Religion + Politics

Planten, my friend, what about the fact the Islam does contain rules for governments? What about Shiarah laws? Islam is more than a religion, it is a way of life.

I agree that the reputation of Islam is suffering because of the actions of a minority. BUt, these people seem very able to defend their claims using the Sacred Texts of Islam. How can we tell who is the curruptor and who is the correct adherant of the faith?

No. Islam is Political. Christianity is not.
Fancy that - and there’s me thinking that the religion that’s been warred-over and been an established part of the state systems of Europe for the past millennium and a half was Christianity. So what religion was it then?

i call that ‘medieval catholicism’. in the middle ages catholics tried to mold christianity into a political religion. but it didnt work. christianity began as a religion separate from politics. and now its back to being a religion separate from politics.

Islam however began as a Political Religion. And its been like that for 1400 years, up until now. And up into the forseeable future.

Islam = Religion + Politics

In a way Islam WAS like Christianity back when christianity was a violent religion.

So, this ‘medieval catholicism’ thing went on for quite a while then, since they kept trying and trying until the mid-20th century when they gave up except in odd places like Spain, Portugal (until the last quarter) and Ireland (and Poland again).

Took them a while to realize that it didn’t work then - you’d have thought they’d have noticed, really.

What are you getting at? That muslims will learn to unpoliticize their their naturally politically designed religion?

No, that people should realize that saying things like ‘Christianity isn’t political’ is more than slightly incorrect.

Everyone knows Christianity’s dark history. So when people refer to christianity’s better points, its most likely in referrence to contemporary times. 😃

And I did say that Islam is like MEDIEVAL christianity. 😃

The Arabs used to have a saying about the Byzantines.

If you don’t fight them, THEY FIGHT YOU. 🙂

Can I make a request? That if anyone quotes a verse from the Qur’an, like 9:5, you make sure you leave in the whole thing?

For example, this part is always left out… People are quick to say "The Qur’an tells Muslims to ‘kill the unbelievers’ but then they forget to add this part:
**
but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practise regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.**

And this one, 9:6 If one amongst the Pagans ask thee for asylum, grant it to him, so that he may hear the word of Allah; and then escort him to where he can be secure. That is because they are men without knowledge.

The United States has gone to war for far less than the reasons for which the Muslims were commanded to fight.

You are incorrect. While Christianity has been involved in politics, it is not based on it. Such an assertion is not supported by facts.

For example you claim that Portugal was a Catholic country until recently. I suspect you may claim that Mexico is too. But both of those countries engaged in wide-spread pogroms against Catholic clerics. In both countries in this century, Catholic priests were forbidden to say Mass, or even wear their clerical clothes. In both countries priests were martyred.

I think such events are not indicative of Catholic political control.

In much of Europe, episodes of anti-clericalism long predate the Reformation, or even the Crusades.

Thats often the case with Invader mentality. The roman pagans themselves invaded other lands to prevent being invaded themselves. Defensive Offense.

Do you think the Byzantines really liked invading people? The way I see it, its the persio-arabs who provoked the greeks. Remember the movie 300? That was some time before the birth of Alexander.
