If you were to read the Quran you would see that there is just enough information to lead you to believe that they might actually be worshipping our One True GOD.

So, along this path here, it’s clear, Ishmael was supposed to lead father of twelve rulers, yet the covenent is made exclusively with Isaac. Taking this into account, Ishmael still is bound to the Jewish faith, he should not have deviated, for it was under the yolk of the Jews, that is the origin. Before Islam existed, that is where it was at, and I have to reference scripture here to show it’s origins:
Matthew 7:15
"Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.
Matt 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many .
We then are left with the nature of mohamed, he was not gentle, just the opposite, “wolf like” with his disposition.

Now, moving forward, there is no debate weather Christians and Jews worship the same God, there still is debate about Islam in this regard, and take a close look at this:

Are we at war with Islam, clearly we are, it was started by Islam itself, and no amount of negotiation is going to win this over. When it comes to testing the spirits, ones that deny Jesus is the Son of God and died on the cross for atonement for our sins, are not true, are in fact false. Does Islam deny Christ, clearly they do.
Then taking into account here, without the Jews, we would have no religion, Christian or Muslim, why on earth would one want to eradicate the Jews? Well, clearly Islam would like nothing better then to do away with them, and this defeats the purpose of their so called faith, Abraham, Moses, etc. were Jews, why would you say on one hand, you follow their teachings, that they are also your prophets, yet desire to kill off their offspring? The religion of Islam is totally illogical.

The old saying is that where there is smoke, there is fire. What we have in this case is a clear lack of smoke. In the centuries between Abraham and Muhammed, we see absolutely no sign of Islam in any form at all in Arabia or the larger Middle East as a whole. If Islam was the faith of Abraham, someone somewhere would have followed it. That large of a gap, to most people, would indicate a lack of existence.
Their scriptures can say whatever they want. That does not make it true.

Baha’is believe Prophet Muhammad was descended from Abraham through His son Ishmael and Baha’u’llah claimed descent from Abraham through the sons of His wife Keturah…which were sent to live in the East…

The Bible says little about how Abraham expressed his faith. We know he was monotheistic and that he offered sacrifices to God, including animal offerings.

But their prayer was heard. The Lord sent Michael the archangel to tell Abraham not to sacrifice his son, and the dew of life was poured on Isaac to revive him. The ram to be offered in his place had stood there ready, prepared from the beginning of creation (Ab. v. 6). Abraham had given proof that he served God not only from fear, but also out of love.
Henceforth he was to become “like a stream of blessing to purify and regenerate the pagan world.” Of the manner in which he converted the heathen it is related that he had a palatial mansion built near the oaktree of Mamre or at Beer-sheba on the crossing of the roads, wherein all kinds of victuals and wine were spread on the table for the passersby, who came through the doors kept open on all sides; and when they, after having partaken of the meal, were about to offer their thanks to him beforegoing on their way, he pointed to God above, whose steward he was and to whom alone they owed thanks. Thus, by his love for man, he taught people how to worship God.
These are the Abrahamic beliefs. They are simple, non violent and non aggressive.

From the outside (of Christianity) looking in, Mormons look a lot like Christians. I know the people on CAF say that they are not Christians but the way that Mormons worship Christ looks a lot like Christianity to me. Considering that they also use the Tanakh, which includes the stories of Abraham, I would consider them Abrahamic on the grounds that they are Christians and use the Jewish Bible as biblical canon.
To your other point…I would contend that being Abrahamic has little to do with a religion’s faith in Jesus and more to do with a religion’s reverence of Abraham. Nobody is arguing whether Islam is a Christian Denomination. We know that it is not. The argument is whether they are Abrahamic.
