You did not get my point.

Huh? I’m certainly not on his side, if that’s what you’re getting at. Bigotry is bigotry, I just don’t think disagreement (even inflamatory disagreement) is worth killing people over. This guy’s observations are not going to make me suddenly lose my faith or anything like that, so if he wants to sit there ranting about how evil Catholics or Muslims are, then I guess that’s his right as a member of a free society. I wish he would use his rights towards more positive things, but I can’t force him, and trying to silence him would only result in a huge backlash anyway. Let the guy blather on. Counter with your own video if you want. You know what you believe. He can’t take it from you. Just don’t give in and react in an extreme manner like he would want you to.

I agree some with what the guy said, It’s obvious he wanted to speak his mind, get his point across with a bit of wit. The reason for the original thread and the title, “Islam !? Then of course a Muslim member or a member with disagreement of the Threads existence and topic defends and then the defenders of the thread defend against the defenders , eventually leading to a stale mate with no resolution. I mean had the opening poster used a more friendly title like “Muslims, whats your recourse to this video?”, maybe some thought provoking answers would have panned out and everyone would be all the better for it, but the OP wanted to play James Dean and receive applause from the majority until the next video, with the same guy, talking about the same thing .I would love to hear from CKP0208 on why he felt he needed to post the video, again I have no problem with the video just want his honest reason, ex: did he think this was a Muslim forum because he’s new and wanted to start some heated keyboard conversation? did he think this video would help solve a lot of ongoing problems?

Absolutely… Would love to explain. In all sites I give forum, not just this one, I wish to spread two main points. One is that Only Through Christ can one receive Salvation. thats it. Plain straight and matter of Fact.

Second point is though almost all religions can be tolerated there is one that must not ever be accepted (i mean by way of idividual beliefs and actions), and that is Islam.

The purpose in the title was just to capture attention to continue the sharing of intelligent perspectives such as this video and Just like the one you gave - very intelligent and provocative in thought. Hey it got your attention right?

Anyway thanks for the response and keep up your great thinking. You do very well. I like all that you had to say here.

I have to admit sometimes I bash islam. Maybe because I do have a deep hate for the religion… but I do love the people as a Christian should. “Separate the Sin from the sinners”.

On other many points, is it bashing when you tell and show the truth. I do this as, the spread of islam is growing fast. And I dont want to be one those who in the end thinks, “man if i just said something maybe more could have seen the truth”.

I wish we could live in total peace where we wouldnt have concerns about a storm growing and threatning our very freedoms to even show belief.

However Im not excusing some of the bashing as you would say… I stay accountable for my actions, therefore will continue to hone skills for purposes of edification of souls around me.

I don’t think it’s bashing, but it is weird when you come to a forum where the majority is either Christian or people of different religions and you make a post about the wrong in Islam, when you think about it, especially when you know that there have been posts like this in the recent and way back past and the result are always the same: guy makes post, guy gets congratulated by some for what he thinks is the truth, guy gets post from other guy that may disagree for whatever reason, some people might just want to get under a Muslims skin (and i’ m not saying that was your purpose, i’ m sure it was not) but sometime depending on where you are it does not matter that you tell the truth if the people that your reporting it to either already know the truth or disagree with your version of the truth.

You give great point to keeping aim on Just Christ. And I, can and do, concentrate much in this and in him.

So I stand corrected: I say islam should not be tolerated at all and thats my personal belief, and Muslims with wrong actions (that pysically harm) should not be tolerated.

It was and still is my point to spark conversation against islam. I am against islam – the religion. There is so much of it around me at work, my community and now infiltrating culture that I feel a powerful need to speak against. Are some things said Rhetoric? Oh yes. And again I will stand accountable and where its pointed out I will correct that. My motives are both personal and conventional…

I know Im not going to win that war about the battle of culture. But I stand stubborn because it reinforces the stand against tyranny in any form. A wall cant go forward or move back but it can help block. Thats how I see myself, a stubborn rock head.
