It is high time you realised that not everyone known as a Christian is an angel or a saint. There are many Christians who bear the name of Christ in their religion, but live as atheists and sinners. God is to judge them. ]
So we should not judge that Christianity is wrong because there are some sinners? Well, isn’t it the same thing with Islam? The Muslim neighbors in our area are peaceful and quiet people. They love large families and have six or seven children. The Catholic families I see at Church are usually two children. Why is it so wrong for a pharmacist to refuse to sell birth control devices or medication. Why does the speaker on the video try to ridicule Muslims and others who oppose the use of artificial birth control?
I thought that the use of artificial birth control is a grave matter and can send a person to hell. Why should not a pharmacist uphold his morals and refuse to sell immoral birth control devices or medications? And by the way, some of these artificial birth control medications are abortifacient. So I disagree with people here who are supporting this video and who are promoting the use of these abortifacient medications.

I personally do not judge Muslims, but object to Islam, which overtly commmands Muslims to hate non-Muslims and fight them.

Salaam/peace;
I wanted some Muslims to prove that Mary gave birth to Jesus at the age of 12.
I asked this questin to some Jews & Christians in other forums.

Ans was like that no specific age is mentioned in the Bible . But as early marriage was common at that time , chances are hight that she was young …most probably 13 or 14 .

Have you read my quotation from the apocryphal Gospel of James? It states that Mary was 16 when She gave birth to Jesus. She was 16, NOT 6 or 9. 😉

Salaam/peace;
You implied that Mary’s dressing style was the same as that of Muslim women, which is not true. Mary never wore a burqa or veil. 🙂
Muslim women must cover themselves from head to toe.

Are u sure Mother Mary (p) did not cover herself from head to toe or NEVER wore veil ?

now a days by men made laws , it’s a crime to give birth at the age of 16 . She is not adult by this law.

But I want to know about religious ground . What’s the minimum age of marriage for both men & women. Is there any bar on age gap for marriage in ur holy book ?

I am positive that mother Mary neither wore veil nor was dressed like Muslim women since She was Jewish 🙂

You seem to forget that Mary was chosen by God and She played a significant role in the divine plan for mankind’s salvation. Her case was nothing ordinary and thus cannot be considered or interpreted in the light of man-made laws or expectations.

It is not age that determines a girl’s marriage in the Bible but her puberty expressed by physical signs…a girl who does not attain puberty must not be married, let alone divorced.

I do not agree with this video which appears to be an attempt to condemn those Muslim pharmacists who refuse to dispense birth control medication. Why should anyone have to dispense medications which could result in the killing of an unborn child? I am with the Muslims on this. The guy on the video wants the right to immoral medication and I don’t support this.

woow …I learnt a new thing today. I saw few images of Mother Mary (p) in Christan’s site & she was with veil . I did not know that Christians beleive she never wore veil.

ok , what kind of dress she used to wear ?

Is there any such in Bible verse regarding the minimum age for marriage ?

I find it pretty sad that that the video appears generalizing Muslims based off of Muslims from Saudi. That’s like saying that all Christians are like the fundamentalists from the Bible Belt in the USA. Saudis are notorious, even among Muslims, particularly American Muslims, for being bigoted idiots that scream out and make Islam look bad. Sorta of like the issue with priests molesting boys a while back.

There’s a whole spectrum of Muslims and Christians out there.
The source of the problem isn’t Islam itself, it’s the **lack of a real education ** in impoverished countries like Iraq, Afghanistan, ect.
The children are brainwashed with this Islamic fundamentalism **** at a young age, but they’re cared for. They’re given a place to eat, sleep and learn how to read. The parents mistakenly believe that their children are getting a good education to get themselves out of the terrible conditions. I’m not surprised that mothers/fathers would willingly (though I’m pretty sure there are some unwilling cases) send their boys to these kinds of fundamentalist schools just so they can eat and sleep somewhere with a roof over their head.

Not only that, the problem with these fundamentalist factions is the lack of the hierarchy like we have with the Catholic Church.The Muslims have no such thing. No standard decree on how to interpret the Qu’ran, no universal agreement among the scholars, the ummah ( I think that’s what the community of Muslim scholars and lawyers are called). It’s really a miracle they’ve got only two major division branches, the Sunni and the Shiite and not a thousand different branches of the faith. Everyone in Islam has their own way of interpreting the Qu’ran, and as we have seen with our fellow Christians that have broken off the Catholic Church, it’s not a pretty sight with all these different versions of the bible, of interpreting the bible, ect. That’s another major problem with the fundamentalist groups that mar the face of Islam.

Where did you see those images? Could you please cite reference and attach one of the pictures? Does that supposed Christian site also agree with you that Mary wore a veil because She was a Muslim woman?

Thanks.

Yeah, it’s worth remembering that women of other religions also veil themselves, not just Muslims. Orthodox women veil themselves, and I even see some of the older women in my parish also veil themselves. It’s fine. There is Biblical support for it. It does not mean any of them are Muslims.

no…the Bible mentions puberty, not a specific age, that is, the girl must reach puberty, something elaborated in the Jewish Talmud if i recall well.
