do I need to give link ?

Can a Catholic confirm me if Mother Mary (p) used to wear veil or not ?
Hi Muslim Women,

I think too many people are giving you a hard time on this. I think muslims should be proud of how Mary dressed herself.

And for the record, I think muslims would be proud of other Catholic saints, such as St Rafqa of Lebanon, and St Therese.

And for the record, this Catholic (me!) supports you 👍 (if only on this issue :o ).

yes , we are proud of her & we will be very happy if we can follow her example ( how she dovoted herself to worship one God only ).
And for the record, this Catholic (me!) supports you 👍
thanks 😃

that’s a goody good Christan 🙂
(if only on this issue :o ).
why only on this issue ? We must support each time what is right 👍

The argument against Muslims about how they “supposedly” treat women is higly ill-informed. True Muslim piety DEMANDS the utmost respect be shown to women. I would recommend anyone who has jaded views of Islam to take their focus off the Taliban, (which incidentally is despised by true muslims).

“Three Cups of Tea” is an excellent book that illustrates what true Muslim spirituality entails. You can always find true spirituality in utter poverty.

Salaam/peace;

pl. let me the know about the verses where Bible / Talmud mentions puberty .
read this :
I passed by and saw you kicking about in your blood, and as you lay there in your blood I said to you, ‘Live!’ I made you grow like a plant of the field. You grew up and developed and became the most beautiful of jewels. Your breasts were formed and your hair grew, you who were naked and bare. Later I passed by, and when I looked at you and saw that you were old enough for love, I spread the corner of my garment over you and covered your nakedness.

commentary by a Jewish source:

God wills the abandoned infant to live. She lives and grows to puberty… Upon reaching puberty, she is ready for marriage… (The Jewish Study Bible: Tanakh Translation, Torah, Nevi’im, Kethuvim p.1069)

this is Christian:
It is not only fornication, but also the giving in marriage prematurely, that is called fornication; when, so to speak, one not of ripe age is given to a husband, either of her own accord or by her parents. (Clement of Alexandria, IX.-Fragment of the Treatise on Marriage, Early Church Fathers - Ante-Nicene Fathers, Volume II;

“The wife was to be taken from within the larger family circle (usually at the ‘outset of puberty’ or around the age of 13) in order to maintain the purity of the family line.”

In all the cases cited above, there is no word 'Puberty" in the actual text. It is only in brackets. Also nothing from the real books.Only it is opinion of some people. That is not religion.

The opinions of other people do not form part of the understanding of the religion? So you are a “Qur’an only” Muslim, Planten? And you don’t listen to any Imam? You have figured it out all by yourself?

Ladies and gentlemen, I think we are witnessing a Muslim Luther today! So this is the “Islamic Reformation” that Reza Aslan and others have said is underway! Hmmm…I think it needs more time to consider what it is doing… 😉

Most Common Questions

asked by Non-Muslims

by Dr. Zakir Naik

"If one amongst the pagans ask thee for asylum,grant it to him, so that he may hear the word of Allah;

and **then escort him to where he can be secure **that is because they are men without knowledge."

[Al-Qur’an 9:6]

The Qur’an not only says that a Mushriq seeking asylum during the battle should be granted refuge, but also that he should be escorted to a secure place.

In the present international scenario, even a kind, peace-loving army General, during a battle, may let the enemy soldiers go free, if they want peace.

But which army General will ever tell his soldiers, that if the enemy soldiers want peace during a battle, don’t just let them go free, but also escort them to a place of security?

This is exactly what Allah (swt) says in the Glorious Qur’an to promote peace in the world

irf.net/irf/dtp/dawah_tech/t15/t15b/pg1.htm
yes and i have seen your places of Security… No thanks…

Im asking you to help all get out of that religion… Step back look at the whole world. The WHOLE picture and just look at the results… ie:Lebanon 60 years ago and then compare to today… ONE of SO many examples…

Are you serious? Do you really need the word ‘puberty’ to be there when it is clearly defined in the paragraph of what puberty is?
Planten, i have a wonderful hobby for you to start… its called clutching at straws… 😉
