Who do you think Isaiah was prophecying about?
please , Just mention one Prophet’s name who taught his followers that God has a son , who is also God . So , You must worship God , His son & Holy Spirit as I do worship them all. Only one name pl.

In the book of Genesis GOD told Abraham to send Ishmael off with his mother, and HE will bless him with a nation, but the would act as mules and everyone will hate them.

Have you ever studied the scriptures and the Israelites. They were stubborn and everyone hated them.

What GOD gave to Jacob, He also gave to Ishmael. God got angry with the Israelites on numerous occasions and left them temporarily and went to other tribes, “Ishmael’s included”.

The point in all this is this. GOD loves all people who live according to “ALL” HIS laws and commands. HE hates those who are in disobedience, practice paganism.

Remember GOD builds bridges, satan divides.

what’s your point here ? Muhammed (p) was a devil worshipper , so God sent angel to punish him or Satan sent an angel to teach Muhammed (p) that seek refuse in God from the cursed Satan ?
I think he meant that the so-called angel Gabriel in the Quran was not angel Gabriel at all but the Devil himself.

The Devil is the father of lies who uses half truth to deceit. Thus not all that he says may be lies. He uses the truth of God and then twists it so as to create doubt.

One good example in Genesis:

Gen 3:1 The serpent asked the woman, “Did God really tell you not to eat from any of the trees in the garden?”

Here he used the truth of God, for God actually did say that and the consequence was death. Now look how he twisted God’s words:

Gen 3:3 … “You certainly will not die!”.

That’s the con. He agree with the truth that God said not to eat from the tree but now instead of confirming God’s word that eating from the tree will cause death, the serpent said, “You certainly will not die”.

The other point is that angel of God will not use violence. The one most likely using it would be the Devil, whose method is by oppression.

It is not too difficult to figure that out, eh?

You think Zoroastrianism is a pagan religion?

So you think everyone with F.L.E have ‘brain problems’, are narcissists and pathological and possible schizoids? That’s very insulting. Do you know anything about F.L.E in the first place?

So all F.L.E patients are also angry, over-sexed maniacs?
First of all, I have made a mistake and I apologize profusely - it is temporal lobe epilepsy that I was refering to, not FLE.

I think you maybe should read up on these disorders. No, I do not think all can be classified as such. I am saying that mohammed had the signs of this according to the hadiths. I have already given some background sites for people to look this up in the original post a few weeks ago.

some of the symptoms of that he had are in narcissism. You are lumping all he symptoms that mohammed had into epilepsy. Each are separate symptoms.

I do not believe that mohammed saw an angel, but I do believe he had some mental problems. Some are associated with cult leaders, others are associated with an over sex drive, others are associated with his hatred (especially of women, but also of anyone who didn’t agree with him), his treatment of people, his paranoia, etc.

In the 20th Century some noted cult leaders have been diagnosed with the same problems and since we will never have a brain scan of mohammed - they can only go by the hadiths and surahs.

‘Understanding muhammad, A Psychobiography’

The Life and Religion of mohammed
The Truth About mohammed

And I have also read books on psychopathy, narcissism, and frontal lobe epilepsy.

The last two books do not touch on his being mentally perturbed, but go into his life.

I find it more insulting to think mohammed saw an angel - even Satan without finding out what really happened to mohammed. What mohammed describes, and others described as mohammed having - was a ‘fit’. In some cases it was even recorded that he falls down when having a ‘fit’. His nurse didn’t even want to deal with them and handed him back to his mother.

This is why I will not judge mohammed, or even other such ilk as Hitler, Stalin, etc. I have a harder problem with the sane peole who follow these types though. I have read on Stalin and Hitler (I read on Hitler several decades ago) and I do know that Hitler had some very troubling sexual problems.

I started reading about all of these mental disorders well after I read about islam. yes, I also took some college courses on abnormal psychology, but that was years ago. How easily people are willing to be brainwashed and follow out deadly orders while whitewashing their reasons and in the case of mohammed and islam, making those reasons into something holy.

epilepsy has many degrees just like any other problem. You should know that. But, it was obvious that mohammed had other problems with narcissism being very high on that list of problems. Do some reading on both of these, or better yet - all of the ones I mentioned, and you might be surprised what you find.

Okay, here’s the problem as I see it: Muslims are accusing these people of worshipping the devil. Christians are accusing Muslims of being devil worshippers because they see the connections between Islam and this other religion. And nobody sees the irony in any of this.
Personally I think this whole thread is pretty silly. I never yeard of Yazidis or whatever until Sam started this thread.

Unfortunately, this seems to occur with important issue in the Quran. At least from the Christians’ perspective. The Quran line would initially goes with the truth and then twist / deny it in the next.

I think no one was sent to muhammed.Neither angel nor Satan. But Muhammed claimed that an angel was sent to him by God,and exactly I believe that Muhammed deceived people by proclaiming himself as The prophet. And all false prophets are the opponents of God.And Muhammed taught something against Satan because it was necessary for the establishment of his false prophet hood.

Walid Shoebat brought up a good reference in the Bible as to what might be happening in this world since mohammed’s time.

mohammed started a ‘religion’ that is basically stating that it is ok to rape, beat, and just treat women poorly.
Select the program that says, Talking It Over, PART 1
December 13, 2008.
If you look at Genesis, Chapter 3 verse 15 you will find this passage:

**I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; He will strike at your head, while you strike at his heel." **

You can go and read the whole chapter if you like, but here is an explanation of this selected passage, and keep in mind that the ‘seed of Eve is Jesus Christ’!

[15] He will strike . . . at his heel: since the antecedent for he and his is the collective noun offspring, i.e., all the descendants of the woman, a more exact rendering of the sacred writer’s words would be, “They will strike . . . at their heels.” However, later theology saw in this passage more than unending hostility between snakes and men. The serpent was regarded as the devil (Wisdom 2:24; John 8:44; Rev 12:9; 20:2), whose eventual defeat seems implied in the contrast between head and heel. Because “the Son of God appeared that he might destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8), the passage can be understood as the first promise of a Redeemer for fallen mankind. The woman’s offspring then is primarily Jesus Christ.

Now, what we have here is a very real possibility that Satan took advantage of a mentally deranged man, mohammed, and instilled in him the means to create such a ‘religion’ bent on hating women. But also a religion that has been building itself up to also carry out another prophesy…

You can read that for yourselves, but it has this in it, '…I will gather all the nations against Israel for battle,…'
I would suggest reading the rest since it prophecies the result for those who war against Israel.

It isn’t those who fight against Israel that will come out alive.

Here is more proof that God wanted mercy and not sacrifice, or eternal jihad. For us to learn about God and not live in fear and the threat of what eternal hatred brings, as islam has brought to so many - especially women.: Read Hosea Chapter 6.

’For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.'

That is a wrong understanding. The Angel gabriel pressed Muhammad a few times and after that Muhammad started reciting what the angel was teaching. The angel never said that he was the devil. it was conveyed to the prophet that it was the Archangel gabriel who was communicating. The name of Gabriel is mentioned in the bible too. that angel is called the spirit from Allah or more correctly Holy spirit.
Forget about Muhammad for a moment. Does the devil must introduce itself as the devil when they come to a human?? What kind of logic is that. The Devil will surely appear as though it is the angel of God to fool human. How can you distinguish what come from God and what come from evil, is the fruit of the message. Not the apparition itself. The Devil has the power of deceiving.

Angels are made from light. Devil is ginnie, made from fire. Man is made from dust. We Muslims have the right understanding of all these things which are indicated in the bibleOT/NT too. Jesus promised to his people that the spirit of truth will come and guide them. That meant, revelations will continue.
How ingenious. However there was no confusion about angels and devils. They were creatures of God. Devils were fallen angels. They disobeyed God and so separated from God to be on their own ways.

There is no need to redefine angels and devils like what Islam did. But this all makes sense for the Devil to redefine it. If he were to deceive Mohammad, the logical thing for him to do was to rule him out from the devil category and appeared as an angel. How convenient.

Don’t you believe that the Devil can masquerade as whom he pleases? And why would he announce himself as the Devil if he wanted to deceive?

To me, Islam categorizing different creatures of God looks like straight from fairy tales. Then under what categories would elfs, leprechauns, trolls, dragons and fairy Godmothers would fall into?

Actually it is you who is lumping everyone into that category. I seriously suggest you withdraw this accusation. Mohammad may have had epilepsy, but to mock him because of that means you are also mocking everyone who has epilepsy. I have epilepsy and i know others with epilepsy. They do not show the psychotic symptoms you claim. I don’t know which books you read from but it does not matter. You are not a doctor and neither do you suffer from a life-threatening neurological disorder to know how epileptic patients feel when people mock them out of ignorance. It is the same as mocking a deaf or mute person or anyone who has a disability problem. I also suffer from a herniated disc. Are you also going to mock Mohammad if he had one?

You can disagree with Islam as much as you want to - even i do, but to make unnecessary correlations such as “Muslims are Satan worshipers” or “Mohammad was psychotic because he had epilepsy” is where i draw the line.

I do not withdraw this assertion. You have not even read about the other problems that I have mentioned so you think it is all lumped in with the epilepsy.

You write the sentence, “Mohammad was psychotic because he had epilepsy”, not me. I wrote that plus other things. The epilepsy is a cause for concern in the way he felt after his fits. Since you are behaving as the muslims do and not reading ANYTHING - I will post the article about the epilepsy.

Next time read it for yourself!
Muhammad and Temporal Lobe Epilepsy (TLE)
By Ali Sina
The Physical Effects of Muhammad’s Ecstatic Experiences:
Here is how Muhammad described his mystical experiences:
“The Revelation is always brought to me by an angel: sometimes it is delivered to me as the beating sound of the bell–and this is the hardest experience for me; but sometimes the angel appears to me in the shape of a human and speaks to me.” [40]
“Those who saw the Prophet (pbuh) in this state relate that his condition would change. Sometimes he would stay motionless as if some terribly heavy load was pressed on him and, even in the coldest day, drops of sweat would fall from his forehead” [41] At other times he would move his lips.
Ibn Sa’d says, “at the moment of inspiration, anxiety pressed upon the Prophet, and his countenance was troubled” [1]
“He fell to the ground like one intoxicated or overcome by sleep; and in the coldest day his forehead would be bedewed with large drops of perspiration. Inspiration descended unexpectedly, and without any previous warning.” [2]
“Then Allah’s Apostle returned with that experience; and the muscles between his neck and shoulders were trembling till he came upon Khadija (his wife) and said, “Cover me!” They covered him, and when the state of fear was over” [3] and [4]
All these are symptoms of Temporal Lobe Epilepsy. The following is a partial list of the Temporal Lobe Seizure Symptoms & Signs as defined in health.allrefer.com
Hallucinations or illusions such as hearing voices when no one has spoken, seeing patterns, lights, beings or objects that aren’t there
Rhythmic muscle contraction Muscle cramps are involuntary and often painful contractions of the muscles which produce a hard, bulging muscle
Abdominal pain or discomfort.
Sudden, intense emotion such as fear.
Muscle twitching (fasciculation) is the result of spontaneous local muscle contractions that are involuntary and typically only affect individual muscle groups. This twitching does not cause pain.
Abnormal mouth behaviors
Abnormal head movements
Sweating
Flushed face
Rapid heart rate/pulse
Changes in vision, speech, thought, awareness, personality
Loss of memory (amnesia) regarding events around the seizure (partial complex seizure)
All the above symptoms were present in Muhammad during the moments that he was allegedly receiving revelations.
He had visions (hallucinations) of seeing an angel or a light and of hearing voices.
He experienced bodily spasms and excruciating abdominal pain and discomfort
He was overwhelmed by sudden emotions of anxiety and fear
He had twitching in his neck muscles
He had uncontrollable lip movement
He sweated even during cold days.
His face flushed. His countenance was troubled.
He had rapid heart palpitation
He had loss of memory. (There is a tradition that states Muhammad was bewitched and used to think that he had sexual relations with his wives when he actually had not. [5]
It is also interesting to note that Muhammad’s hallucination was not limited to seeing the Angel Gabriel but he also claimed seeing Jinns and even in one occasion while praying in the mosque he started struggling with an imaginary person and later said “Satan came in front of me and tried to interrupt my prayer, but Allah gave me an upper hand on him and I choked him. No doubt, I thought of tying him to one of the pillars of the mosque till you get up in the morning and see him. Then I remembered the statement of Prophet Solomon, ‘My Lord ! Bestow on me a kingdom such as shall not belong to any other after me.’ Then Allah made him (Satan) return with his head down (humiliated).” [6]
One of the embarrassing events in Muhammad’s life occurred when Satan put words in his mouth.
Tabari says: “When the messenger of God saw how his tribe turned their backs on him and was grieved to see them shunning the message he had brought to them from God, he longed in his soul that something would come to him from God which would reconcile him with his tribe. With his love for his tribe and his eagerness for their welfare it would have delighted him if some of the difficulties which they made for him could have been smoothed out, and he debated with himself and fervently desired such an outcome. Then God revealed:

cont’d.
“By the Star when it sets, your comrade does not err, nor is he deceived; nor does he speak out of (his own) desire…”
and when he came to the words:
Have you thought upon al-Lat and al-Uzza and Manat, the third, the other?
Satan cast on his tongue, because of his inner debates and what he desired to bring to his people, the words:
"These are the high flying cranes; verily their intercession is accepted with approval.
The Quraysh left delighted by the mention of their gods. Amity was restored and the news of that reached the followers of Muhmmad who at his behest had migrated to Abyssina and some of them returned. Muhammad realizing the consequence of this is giving up on his monopoly on God and the contradiction that it entails, claimed those verses and his Allah consoled him saying, “Never did We send a messenger or a prophet before thee, but, when he framed a desire, Satan threw some (vanity) into his desire: but Allah will cancel anything (vain) that Satan throws in, and Allah will confirm (and establish) His Signs: for Allah is full of Knowledge and Wisdom”: 22:52 [8]
In the Quran there are several mentions of Jinns. Surah 72 narrates a conversation between Jinns where they comment about the Quran, call it “a wonderful Recital” and convert to Islam. Their role is described as prying into the secrets of heaven and eavesdropping to the conversation of the exalted assembly. Which since the apparition of Muhammad, they found it filled with stern guards and flaming fires. “We used, indeed, to sit there in (hidden) stations, to (steal) a hearing;" Quran quotes one Jinn saying to others, “but any who listen now will find a flaming fire watching him in ambush. And we understand not whether ill is intended to those on earth, or whether their Lord (really) intends to guide them to right conduct”.
It is not difficult to see that Muhammad suffered from Temporal Lobe Epilepsy. In fact TLE was just one of his ailments. The prophet suffered from other mental disorders and physical complications. I will speak about them in future. The real miracle is in the fact that a billion people follow a sick man for so long.

And then there is the narcissism. I will start that here and continue onward.
Narcissism (Understanding muhammad, A Psychobiography, pp60-63)
The Diagnostic and Statistical manual of mental Disorders (DSM) describes narcissism as a personality disorder that 'revolve around a pattern of grandiosity, need for admiration, and sense of entitlement. Often individuals feel overly important and will exaggerate achievements and will accept, and often demand, praise and admiration despite worthy achievements.
mohammed was a narcissit, besides having frontal lobe epilepsy which I have already gone into.
  • he thought he was the anointed messenger of God and the Seal of the Prophets (which I have already proven that he was not a prophet according to the Bible) Q 33:40
  • mohammed regarded himself as Khayru-l-Khalq (the Best of Creation), an excellent example Q 33:21
  • explicitly or implicitly hinted to be ‘exalted above other prophets in degrees’ Q2:253
  • claimed to be ‘the preferred one’ Q21:107
  • sent to as a ‘Mercy to the worlds’ Q21:107
  • to have been risen ‘to a praised estate’ Q17:79 This is a station that no one but he would receive and this is the station of intercession at the right hand of the almighty next to his glorious throne. In other words he would be the one to advise allah who would go to hades and who would go to heaven.
mohammed claimed:
-allah created mohammed’s soul first
-allah created mohammed’s mind first (too bad it made so many mistakes!
-that mohammed is from allah and the believers are from mohammed
-allah gave him a noble character
-were it not for mohammed the Universe would not be created
The reality is that naricissists suffer from a great deal of self-esteem and needs an outside supply of adulation, admiration and greatness. And it seems that mohammed’s needs were very great indeed!
mohammed was a pathological narcissist. According to Dr. Sam Vaknin (author of ‘Malignant Self-Love’), a pathological narcissist has an extreme lack of empathy. The narcissist treats others as objects to be exploited and uses them for his narcissistic supply. He believes that he is entitled to special treatment because of his own fantasies about himself. The narcissist is NOT self-aware. His cognitiion and emotions are distorted. The narcissist lies to imself and to others, projecting ‘untouchability’, emotional immunity and invincibility. for a narcissist everything is bigger than life. His promises are outlandish, his criticism is violent and ominous, and his generosity inane. The narcissist is a master of disguise. He is a charmer, a talented actor, a magician and a director of both himself and his milieu. It is very difficult to expose im as such in the first encounter.

the narcissist needs admirers. Anyone inside his ‘circle’ he rewards and encourages their sycophantism and he is the center. Anyone outside of the ‘circle’ are his enemies. (sounds a lot like fascists! ‘either you are with me or you are against me’. No wonder it is so easy to compare islam to communism and nazism)
-he is the center, the guru
-he demands obedience
-he feels entitled to adulation and special treatment
-he punishes the wayward
-he enforces discipline, adherence to his teachings and common goals
-the less accomplished he is the more stringent his mastery and the more pervasive the brainwashing (mohammed must have not been very accomplished at all!)
-control is based on ambiguous, unpredictable, fuzzy and ambient abuse.
-whims are ever shifting (which explains allah changing its mind all the time!)
-he alone determines right and wrong (which explains mohammed having to redefine sin!
-he is a micromanager (which explains why there over concern with other’s potty behavior, etc)
-he punishes and abuses severly those who do not conform to his wishes
-he ignores the wishes of his followers, he has no respect for their boundaries and need for privacy because he treats them as objects
-he disapproves of other’s autonomy and independence - even the most inane require his approval which means that the follower are gradually isolated from their friends and famly
-he acts in a patronizing and condescending manner and criticizes often.
-he is unrealistic in his expectations

The angel never said that he was the devil. it was conveyed to the prophet that it was the Archangel gabriel who was communicating.
:dts:Conveyed by whom? an authentic Jewish or Christian leader…
Jesus promised to his people that the spirit of truth will come and guide them. That meant, revelations will continue.
Is Muhammed the “Spirit of Truth”!!!, how come someone calls himself the “Spirit of Truth” yet he sinned during his lifetime?
Jesus could not finish his job fully. Somethign remained to be accomplished later. That was done by Muhammad care of the holy spirit.
According to whom?, Jesus Himself said “It is finished.(John 19:30).

The other point is that angel of God will not use violence. The one most likely using it would be the Devil, whose method is by oppression.
Exactly, because that wasn’t the case when God The Most High spoke with Moses through the burning bush (Exodus 2:3), and how Angel Gabriel spoke with Mary:

"*In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.” Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. But the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. *(Luke 1:26-32).

Did Angel Gabriel :angel1: use violence with Mary when she asked him that question, or he used normal words :heaven: to explain her everything.

Common sense tells us that the Quranic angel Gabriel cannot be the angel Gabriel of the Bible. They were so different. I hate to say this but the only logical conclusion, if at all it is true that Mohammad encountered this creature, it must be the Devil himself.

See the contrast of how the two creatures differ in their approach and their effect on the recipients of their message respectively:

Biblical Gabriel:

"In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.” Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. Gabriel of Islam:

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 1, Number 3:
"…The Prophet added, “The angel caught me (forcefully) and pressed me so hard that I could not bear it any more. He then released me and again asked me to read and I replied, ‘I do not know how to read.’ Thereupon he caught me again and pressed me a second time till I could not bear it any more. He then released me and again asked me to read but again I replied, ‘I do not know how to read (or what shall I read)?’ Thereupon he caught me for the third time and pressed me, and then released me …”
(E) (A).

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 1, Number 2:
"Narrated 'Aisha: (the mother of the faithful believers) Al-Harith bin Hisham asked Allah’s Apostle “O Allah’s Apostle! How is the Divine Inspiration revealed to you?” Allah’s Apostle replied, “Sometimes it is (revealed) like the ringing of a bell, this form of Inspiration is the hardest of all and then this state passes ’ off after I have grasped what is inspired. Sometimes the Angel comes in the form of a man and talks to me and I grasp whatever he says.” 'Aisha added: Verily I saw the Prophet being inspired Divinely on a very cold day and noticed the Sweat dropping from his forehead (as the Inspiration was over). "
(E) (A) .

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 87, Number 111:
“…But after a few days Waraqa died and the Divine Inspiration was also paused for a while and the Prophet became so sad as we have heard that he intended several times to throw himself from the tops of high mountains …”
