Here - I’ll summarize it for you.

Mohamad had a dream which Gabriel took him up to heaven.

While there, Mohamad saw Adam, Moses, Jesus and Abraham on different levels of heaven.

So, now Mohamad is standing in front to Allah.

Allah told Mohamad that his followeres will need to pray **50 **times a day.

Mohamad walks away from Allah, runs into Moses & Moses asks Mohamad… how many times did Allah tell you to pray.

Mohamad replied with 50 prayers.

Moses said to Mohamad… go back & tell Allah, that is way too many prayers per day.

So, Mohamad goes back to Allah & Allah reduces the praying times to 25.

Mohamad walks away and again he bumps into Moses…

So Moses again asks what is the new prayer times.

Mohamad replied 25 times a day

Moses again said to Mohamad… go back & tell Allah the number of prayers is still too high.

Mohamad goes back to Allah & Allah now reduces that number by half… whatever 1/2 is of 25… is it 12 1/2 prayers…

So again, Mohamad walks away - bumps into Moses… again… & Moses informs Mohamad that the number of prayers is still to high.

Mohamad again goes back to Allah and it is now that Allah reduced all daily prayers to 5 times a day.

I have talked with a lot of Coptic Orthodoxes about Islam and they seem to think that it’s an evil religion. But when I read Nostra Aetate it’s seems to be a religion of peace.
Is Islam evil or good?

It’s just like any other Non-Catholic/Non-Christian religion

If you wouldn’t say Buddhism is evil, you shouldn’t Islam is evil.

If you WOULD say Buddhism is evil, then Islam would be too.

If Islam is evil because it rejects the diety of Christ, then every religion besides ours must be evil.

While I thank you for the clarification, what you mention is as I recall now, was what my friend told me fairly the same. I was also not really sure from memory what was the initial number (ie 100 vs. 50) as he explained it to me 2 years ago.

In truth I found it odd myself but couldnt help but think of the Transfiguration where Jesus meets Moses and Elijah as well as Lot’s plead regarding Sodom and Gomorrah.

All that said and done let me reiterate as i mentioned earlier, that it would be best if Muslims convert to Catholicism. Idealistic perhaps

Apostles said to not even allow someone who teaches Jesus to not be who he is, into your home.

From 1 Timothy ch. 6

3 Anyone who teaches anything different and does not keep to the sound teaching which is that of our Lord Jesus Christ, the doctrine which is in accordance with true religion,

The islamic Isa is NOT our Lord Jesus

These are not mentioned in Quran. This is just a make up story of the Muslims apologist. The problem is, the muslims (especially in Indonesia) believe in this make up story even though not mentioned in Quran.

They teach a different Jesus, as well as a different Abraham and up.

When the Apostles teach to not even invite these people who teach a different Jesus and corrupt others, into your house? Why should we be nice?

Especially when they are waging a war against us.

I mean do not get me wrong. Ill hold a conversation with a muslim. And I will be nice. But there is a line I draw when being nice. For example I wouldn’t allow an Imam into my home. Or go to a mosque. Or listion to a speech or Islamic apologist. Or be pushed around and allow myself to be subjected to their laws.
