The people here and most catholics worldwide. There are turkish christians who have been hospitable to muslim refugees of Syria and there were Ethiopian christians who saved many muslim lives in the 7th century (especially the Ethiopian King, who was also a christian). Nowadays, though, for catholics, aside from the current Pope and the last two Popes [John Paul and Benedict], catholics hardly care at all about muslims.

We’re just statistics to you. If I were dying on the side of the road and begged for help, most of you wouldn’t stop-- and if you did, you’d just laugh.
So in effect your view of Catholics is really no different than the view of those Catholics and non-Catholics who think all Muslims are terrorists.

Come-on, your in Canada, they would lock up the brakes quick as humanly possible to help you. They would have you in and out of the hospital quicker than Dunkin Donuts drive through. You would be like “new money”.

We in fact are trying to keep people alive.😉

**Here are the guidelines for inter-faith dialogue:

Members are free to discuss, dialogue, question, disagree with, and debate the doctrines and dogmas of both Catholicism and non-Catholic religions. However, all discourse must be civil and charitable.

Guidelines
For both Catholic and non-Catholic posters:
It is acceptable to question the doctrine or dogma of another’s faith
It is never acceptable to question the sincerity of an individual’s beliefs
Bringing up historical controversies peculiar to a particular religion should be done cautiously*
It is acceptable to discuss the effect the incident had on current policy or practice.
It is acceptable to seek the truth vs. commonly-held beliefs or conventional wisdom about actual events.
It is fallacious reasoning to use embarrassing incidents to claim that they “prove” a particular religion is false.
Expecting members of any Church to defend or answer for the excesses or extremism of bodies that have broken with it is a technique that has no merit and can’t be defended.

These rules for posting are not open for debate.**
