Islamic polemic "Oldest Bible found in Palestine" the Didache?

Hi there, my question is in regard to this

I had heard the book being mentioned is the Didache (Which ofcourse, speaks of Baptism of Son, Father and Holy Spirit which sinks the islamic claims in the video) but I wanted confirmation if the book mentioned in this islamic propaganda video is the Didache, if not what is it? thank you very much!!!

They did say that it was indeed the Didache, but, it was difficult to know for certain due to the misinformation being spewed out by the commentator. Also, the Didache does prescribe the Trinitarian formula, although, at that point in time when the Didache had been written, the Trinity had yet to be defined formally by the Church.

7 The procedure for baptizing is as follows. After repeating all that has been said, immerse in running water “In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost”. If no running water is available, immerse in ordinary water. This should be cold if possible; otherwise warm. If neither is practicable, then pour water three times on the head “In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost”. Both baptizer and baptized ought to fast before the baptism, as well as any others who can do so; but the candidate himself should be told to keep a fast for a day or two beforehand. (Didache 7)

Oh… and, the Didache is not so much a “Bible” as it is a catechism for clergy of it’s time.

They said in the clip that it was the didache? I don’t know, I might have missed it, if anyone could point out the time in the clip that does I’d appreciate it unless you meant something else ofcourse

I’ll confirm that I heard him say Didache, although I can’t give you a time. It is right at the beginning of the section they start talking about it in.

Turns out I was pronouncing Didache as “Die-dah-chee” probably why I missed it

Glad it’s cleared up now, though it’s incredibly sad that so few muslims will ever even question these kinds of cheap polemics and will instead swallow it blindly, modern day pharasees
