Bible does the same thing by saying there are four corners of the earth. But it’s a metaphor, of course.

And its a metaphor that still finds good use in the science of navigation to this very day. The North, South, East & West.

But the Koranic comparison to a bed/carpet, how on earth can that be of reasonable use to anyone. Rather it gives a very wrong idea. Like what that Arab is saying in the video. “The earth is flat because the koran says so.”
