Ok well given all that, there is the question of why anyone would worship a god that is so willing to accept that generally moral people who happened to sin before death, or who simply were atheist are eternally punished with the same lot of people who spent there entire lives causing nothing but pain, suffering, and death to there fellow man.
- “generally moral” ?
- God made it possible for us to be with Him for all eternity. That is so monumental, the corresponding loss of that , is just as monumental. So the latter doesn’t happen, He gave us the means to get through this life safely…providing we follow what He wants. It’s a choice we freely make. over and over again as we go through each day.
I don’t think one can even begin to comprehend true seperation from God, and knowing that seperation is for eternity. An eternal desolation and hoplessness is not imaginable. That alone in my mind would be excruciating. And that leads to another question, so does that mean when we are completely seperated from God that upon reaching Hell we will become these monsters that put Pol Pot and serial killers to shame? Is God fine just allowing his creations to become worse than demons just because they died missing a Mass, or happened to not believe in him?
